About the Position:
Our client, a large national law firm, is actively seeking an experienced healthcare attorney with a practice focused on transactional and regulatory matters to join its Chicago office as an associate or counsel (depending on years of experience). This team has an extensive and high end client list and assists with sophisticated transactions, regulatory and compliance issues, and high-stakes litigation for hospitals/health systems, health plans, group purchasing organizations, physician groups, and other health care entities. Responsibilities:
· Assist clients in navigating complex health care regulatory landscapes, including federal and state licensing and certification, Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and provider operations
· Perform due diligence reviews for health care clients in proposed mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
· Assist clients in negotiating critical agreements such as managed care contracts, professional service agreements, and vendor deals

Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of experience handling corporate and regulatory matters in the health care sector
· Strong understanding of Fraud and Abuse, Stark, Medicare reimbursement, and HIPAA

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 – $300,000.
