About the Position:
Our client, a top international law firm, has an active need for two healthcare regulatory attorneys to join its Chicago office as a mid (3-5 yrs) or senior-level associate (5+ yrs). This practice advises a wide spectrum of life sciences clients, including multinational corporations, hospitals, health systems, start-up developers, and manufacturers of food and drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, dietary supplements, and cosmetics, as well as laboratories, trade associations, professional groups, and research institutions.

Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients in the life sciences industry on regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters
· Assists life sciences companies with regulatory matters throughout the entire product life cycle, including FDA inspections and enforcement and advisory actions as well as matters essential to FDA approval, clearance, or licensure
· Conduct regulatory due diligence in connection with business transactions and assists in drafting and negotiating various contractual arrangements

Required Qualifications:
· 3-7+ years of healthcare/life sciences regulatory experience
· Experience representing hospitals and health systems, healthcare providers and suppliers is preferred
· Candidates who have been practicing for 5 years or more must have experience with federal and state healthcare regulation, including fraud and abuse counseling, health care transactions and contracting
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $435,000.
