About the Position:
Our client, a dynamic national Am Law firm, has an active need for a healthcare litigation attorney to join its Century City Los Angeles office as an associate. This firm boasts one of the largest healthcare practices in the country and is Chambers-ranked. The attorneys in this practice represent hospitals and health systems, pharmacies, laboratories, academic medical centers, and long-term care centers throughout the country.

Responsibilities:
· Handle healthcare litigation and medical malpractice defense matters in federal and state court, as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings
· Manage discovery and motion practice
· Support matters involving the False Claims Act, Stark Law, licensing inquiries, payor reimbursement, and hospital-related issues

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of experience in health care litigation, medical malpractice defense, or comparable litigation work
· Solid grounding in federal and state court litigation practice and procedure, along with alternative dispute resolution
· Substantive knowledge of the False Claims Act, Stark Law, licensing matters, payor reimbursement, and hospital-related issues is a plus
· Strong academic credentials and excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $290,000 – $420,000.
