About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded international law firm based in the Midwest, is seeking a healthcare lawyer to join as an associate in its Chicago office. This highly regarded healthcare practice advises national healthcare networks, health systems, and hospitals on complex transactional and regulatory matters. The team handles significant work across areas including antitrust, corporate ventures, and long-term care, while also offering niche expertise in areas such as health IT.

Responsibilities:
· Draft and negotiate physician employment agreements, non-physician vendor contracts, and other healthcare related agreements
· Assist clients with questions regarding federal and state laws and regulations, including federal health care fraud and abuse laws, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law
· Advise clients on licensing and accreditation and compliance with HIPAA

Required Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of experience handling healthcare transactional, regulatory, contracting and compliance matters
· Knowledge of federal and state health care regulations
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $210,000 – $280,000.
