About the Position:
Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a healthcare technology transactions attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm’s full-service practice group assists health care organizations, including digital health companies and hospitals, with transactions, regulatory work, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
· Represent health care and life sciences clients in technology transactions, including matters involving digital health products and services
· Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial technology agreements, such as software/SaaS, cloud services, data licensing and use, professional services, and strategic collaboration agreements
· Negotiate business associate agreements and data protection terms within technology deals

Required Qualifications:
· 4-8 years of technology transactions experience, ideally with a health care and life sciences focus
· Working knowledge of privacy and data security laws governing health care and health technology, including HIPAA and state health and consumer privacy statutes
· Experience counseling on health tech and AI matters is strongly preferred
· Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, writing, negotiation, and communication skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $290,000 – $420,000.
