About the Position:
Our client, a global private markets investment manager, is actively seeking a regulatory/compliance paralegal to join its Chicago office as a Senior Associate. The person in this position will support attorneys on the Compliance team across a range of legal, regulatory, internal monitoring/auditing, and related matters.

Responsibilities:
· Update global regulatory filings calendar, ensuring all deadlines are accurately tracked
· Review and submit regulatory filings
· Prepare and maintain documentation related to ongoing monitoring efforts (examples include: gift and political contribution logs, reporting of personal investments, revisions to internal securities trading restrictions lists, and compliance with firm’s electronic communications policy)
· Support audits and regulatory examinations by maintaining spreadsheets and compiling, organizing and reviewing requested documentation
· Perform periodic compliance checks
· Interact with the firm’s lawyers, investment professionals, accountants and other professionals
· Identify opportunities for improvement efficiency in filings processes
· Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of professional experience, including 2-3 years with a focus on regulatory compliance
· Undergraduate degree, preferably with a major related to business administration or law
· Experience within private equity and/or asset management strongly preferred
· Strong experience with document management systems, Zoom, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $105,000 – $140,000.
