About the Position:
Our client, a premier national Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an insurance coverage litigation attorney to join its Chicago office. The firm has a substantial insurance practice that represents carriers, regulators, and agencies across virtually every segment of the industry, handling everything from complex coverage disputes and class actions to regulatory and transactional matters.

Responsibilities:
· Advise and represent clients in commercial insurance coverage disputes, working closely with the firm’s financial services and capital markets attorneys
· Manage complex commercial litigation through every stage, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, and mediation
· Analyze commercial and personal lines insurance policies and prepare coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters
· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, explaining coverage issues, positions, and recommended legal strategies

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of insurance coverage and commercial litigation experience preferred
· Proven background handling coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector
· Excellent academic credentials paired with strong legal research and writing skills

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $150,000 – $185,000.
