About the Position:
Our client, a leading Virginia law firm, is seeking an intellectual property attorney to join its growing office in Tysons Corner. This opportunity offers a mix of sophisticated trademark, copyright, trade secret, licensing, and transactional IP work for a diverse client base. Portable book of business preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters
· Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement
· Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing and technology agreements
· Conduct IP due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions
· Handle trademark opposition, cancellation, and enforcement matters
· Counsel clients on brand protection, licensing, software development, and related IP issues

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of intellectual property experience
· Significant experience with trademark counseling, prosecution, and portfolio management
· Experience drafting and negotiating IP and technology-related agreements
· Portable book of business preferred
· Commercial litigation experience is a plus

Location:
Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000+ and may be substantially higher for candidates with a portable book of business.
