About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, has an immediate need for an employment attorney with 3+ years of experience (international counseling experience is strongly preferred) to join its Chicago office as a mid to senior-level associate. Attorneys in this practice provide strategic advice to clients around the world on the full range of L&E matters, including non-competes, pay, hiring, promotions, implementation of policies, terminations and reductions in force.

Responsibilities:
· Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions
· Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements
· Advise on reductions in force and other employee terminations
· Draft restrictive covenants
· Provide counseling on employee mobility
· Provide advice and counsel to emerging companies in all aspects of employment law
Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of employment counseling experience
· International employment counseling experience strongly preferred
· Large law firm experience preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $435,000.
