About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, has an immediate need for an employment attorney with 3+ years of experience (international counseling experience is strongly preferred) to join its Chicago office as a mid to senior-level associate. This top-tier firm boasts one of the largest employment teams, with more than 400 lawyers in over 40 countries. Attorneys in this practice provide strategic advice to clients around the world on the full range of L&E matters, including non-competes, pay, hiring, promotions, implementation of policies, terminations and reductions in force.

Responsibilities:
· Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions
· Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements
· Advise on reductions in force and other employee terminations
· Draft restrictive covenants
· Provide counseling on employee mobility
· Provide advice and counsel to emerging companies in all aspects of employment law

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of employment counseling experience
· International employment counseling experience strongly preferred
· Large law firm experience preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $435,000.
