Our client, a large international law firm, has an active need for an investment management attorney to join its nationally recognized practice as an associate in Chicago. This practice is consistently recognized as a leading investment management practice and represents investors and sponsors forming private and public investment vehicles, as well as in IPOs, spin-outs, and mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:
· Advise funds, fund sponsors, and underwriters in the U.S. and abroad
· Assist clients with structuring, offering, operation, and ongoing financing and regulation of registered investment companies

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of investment management experience, including 1940 Act registered funds experience and business development company work
· Experience from a large law firm investment management practice is preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
