About the Position:
We are working with a full-service national law firm that has an immediate need for an intellectual property litigation attorney (3+ yrs) to join its practice in Chicago as a mid-level associate. The attorneys in this innovative practice group handle IP litigation, patent, trademark, and copyright matters. This practice group has a national reach and advises clients ranging from well-known brands to world-renowned research institutions.

Responsibilities:
· Draft pleadings, motions, pre-trial briefings, and appeal briefs
· Conduct pre-suit due diligence investigations and develop case strategies
· Manage discovery as well as discovery negotiations
· Take and defend depositions and argue motions in court

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of IP litigation experience, including patent and trademark matters
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $210,000 – $285,000.
