We are working with a Midwest-based national law firm with a large and established Chicago office that has an immediate need for a patent prosecution attorney with 3+ years of experience to join as a mid/senior-level associate. Responsibilities:
· Assist a variety of clients, including startups, Fortune 500 companies, universities, and research institutions, with patent prosecution matters
· Assist with patent due diligence and landscape analysis
· Manage patent portfolios
· Assist with drafting freedom to operate opinions

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of patent prosecution experience
· A degree (undergrad or advanced) in computer sciences or computer/software engineering
· Excellent academic credentials
· Must be admitted to the USPTO
