We are working with a prestigious global law firm that has an immediate need for an IP lawyer with technology transactions experience (3-6 yrs) to join its market-leading practice in Chicago as an associate. This practice represents clients ranging from growth-stage businesses to Fortune 100 companies with negotiating, structuring and closing complex technology and IP-related transactions. Responsibilities:
· Work on an array of domestic and international transactions, serving both public and private companies across industries
· Advise on transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and restructurings
· Draft and negotiate software and systems agreements, outsourcing contracts, R&D and collaboration agreements, licenses, and other commercial agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience with technology and IP transactions
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
