About the Position:
We are working with an established Chicago law firm, with a truly high-end and sophisticated practice, that has an immediate need for a litigator to join as a junior-level associate. This firm is well-known for its collaborative work environment and has a diverse middle-market client base. The attorneys in the litigation practice represent clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including securities, shareholder/partnership, construction, intellectual property, and contract disputes in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with senior attorneys in all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial discovery through trial
· Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
· Assist with depositions and trials

Required Qualifications:
· 0-3 years of commercial litigation experience
· Strong academic credentials
· Desire for a client-facing and dynamic middle-market practice

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 – $150,000.
