About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a labor and employment attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm advises clients worldwide on compensation, benefits, and employment issues in corporate transactions of every size and stage.

Responsibilities:
· Provide labor and employment support on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
· Counsel employers of all types on every aspect of the employment relationship
· Draft offer letters, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, separation agreements, and non-competes and other restrictive covenants in line with client goals and legal requirements
· Work closely with practice groups across the firm on employment matters

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of broad employment counseling experience
· Employment law experience focused on transactional work and client counseling
· Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000+.
