About the Position:
Our client, an international law firm, has an active need for a labor and employment transactional lawyer to join as an associate in Chicago. This dynamic practice handles both transactional and high-stakes litigation matters for Fortune 500 and other multinational clients.

Responsibilities:
· Support labor and employment diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments
· Draft and negotiate executive employment agreements, separation arrangements, and restrictive covenant agreements
· Advise on executive mobility issues, including the structuring and enforceability of non-competition and non-solicitation obligations
· Support post-transaction workforce integration
· Collaborate with corporate deal teams and private equity sponsors
Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience handling L&E matters that arise in connection with M&A transactions, leadership transitions, restrictive covenant enforcement, and other sensitive personnel issues
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
