About the Position:
Our client, a top global law firm, is actively seeking a labor and employment lawyer with large law firm experience to join its busy Chicago practice as an associate. This firm’s L&E practice represents national and international corporations in a range of labor and employment matters, including litigation, international employment, and labor-management relations.

Responsibilities:
· Conduct discovery, handle motions in federal and state courts, and respond to administrative agency charges and investigations
· Handle wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and trade secret matters
· Assist clients with addressing, resolving and documenting issues that arise in employment relationships · Draft and negotiate employment contracts
· Keep abreast of employment statutes and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of labor and employment litigation and counseling experience
· Strong academic credentials and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $230,000 – $340,000.
