About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 100 Firm, has an immediate need for a labor and employment lawyer (8+ yrs) to join its corporate practice as a Counsel in its Chicago office. This firm represents one-third of Fortune 100 companies – as well as small entrepreneurs, government entities, nonprofit organizations, and individuals around the globe.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients in employment-related compliance, including worker classification, wage and hour, immigration, unions and collective bargaining, reductions-in-force, WARN act issues, employment policies and handbooks, and equal opportunity laws
· Draft employment agreements and separation agreements
· Draft and advise on restrictive covenants
· Conduct employment-related diligence and handle employment-related reps and covenants in transaction documents

Required Qualifications:
· 8+ years of labor and employment law experience
· Experience advising clients in employment-related compliance, including worker classification, wage and hour, immigration, unions and collective bargaining, reductions-in-force, WARN act issues, employment policies and handbooks, and equal opportunity laws
· Experience drafting employment agreements and separation agreements as well as drafting and advising on restrictive covenants
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 – $400,000.
