About the Position:
Our client, a dynamic Chicago law firm, is actively seeking a litigator to join its thriving commercial litigation practice as a mid-level associate. The person in this role will have direct partner and client contact, courtroom exposure, and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
· Work on all aspects of commercial litigation, from pre-trial discovery through trial
· Draft substantive motions, pleadings, and briefs, and take and defend depositions
· Establish, grow and maintain relationships with new and existing clients

Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of complex commercial litigation experience at a large or mid-size firm
· Experience with discovery, motion practice, oral argument, and handling large-scale document productions
· Excellent writing skills
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $175,000.
