About the Position:
Our client, a dynamic Am Law 200 firm with roots in Chicago, is seeking a litigator (3-5 years of experience) with significant creditor’s rights experience to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. This sophisticated practice group handles all aspects of collection matters, from out-of-court workouts through litigation and collection of judgments, to a wide range of unsecured collection matters. The practice serves a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, lenders, secured creditors, investors, investment funds, and equipment leasing companies.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, creditor’s rights disputes, commercial foreclosures and distressed debt workouts, and related state and federal court litigation and arbitrations
· Counsel clients throughout every stage of the litigation and arbitration process
· Handle all aspects of collection matters
· Draft complaints and motions, conduct discovery, and communicate with opposing counsel and clients
Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience assisting clients in resolving bankruptcy litigation, creditors’ rights and foreclosure matters
· Experience handling matters involving enforcement of commercial loans, collateral repossession, Uniform Commercial Code, and commercial finance law
· Strong deposition and case management experience
· Large law firm experience
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000+.
