About the Position:
Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join its practice as an associate in their Mergers & Acquisitions department. This role offers the opportunity to operate within the intersection of M&A and insurance. The group specializes in representations and warranties insurance and related transactional risk solutions.

Responsibilities:
· Help insurers evaluate and structure the coverage they provide to protect buyers and sellers in M&A deals.
· Review and advise on transaction documents, including purchase agreements and related ancillary documents.
· Collaborate with a team-oriented group of attorneys on complex M&A transactions across a range of industries.

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of M&A or corporate transactional experience at a law firm.
· Experience handling deals built around real estate, such as REIT mergers or property-heavy sectors like oil and gas or renewable energy, is desired.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess legal diligence through an insurance risk lens.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $325,000
