About the Position:
Our client, a rapidly growing boutique litigation law firm in Chicago, has an active need for an experienced, partner-level attorney who is ready to move away from the day-to-day practice of law and into a senior leadership and management role. The position combines the responsibilities of Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer, and General Counsel, and works closely with firm leadership on the daily operations and continued growth of the firm.

Responsibilities:
· Lead attorney staffing, recruiting, performance management, and mentoring across the firm
· Oversee financial and operational matters, including the finance team, real estate, and technology/AI initiatives
· Manage risk, ethics, and general counsel matters such as insurance, litigation, contracts, and compliance
· Partner with firm leadership on business development, including RFPs, client intake, and budgeting

Required Qualifications:
· Prior experience as a partner in a boutique or mid-sized law firm
· Strong understanding of both the practice and business of law
· A natural inclination toward leadership, mentoring, staffing, or firm management
· A smart, practical, and collaborative approach with a growth mindset and genuine interest in the business side of law

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000, with the opportunity for additional generous bonuses for work originated.
