About the Position:
Our client, a premier global investment banking platform, is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to join its Legal Department as a Corporate Counsel. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals in connection with legal and regulatory matters related to the firm’s investment banking activities.

Responsibilities:
· Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on non-disclosure agreements, client engagement letters, and other documentation supporting investment banking and financial advisory activities
· Provide day-to-day counsel to investment banking teams on legal, regulatory, commercial, reputational, and risk-management issues
· Advise on contract interpretation, dispute resolution, conflicts of interest, and risk mitigation
· Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting investment banking activities and assist in developing, implementing, and refining internal policies and procedures
· Coordinate and manage outside counsel, as needed
· Recommend process improvements and updated policies in response to evolving legal trends and business needs

Required Qualifications:
· 4-10 years of experience with M&A and financing transactions in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
· Prior experience working in an investment bank (or familiarity with investment banking practices) preferred, but not required
· Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $250,000, plus discretionary bonus
