About the Position:
Our client, a sophisticated national law firm, has an active need for a patent litigator to join its innovative practice group as an associate in Chicago. Attorneys in the firm’s IP Litigation practice handle cases across a wide spectrum of industries and have significant bench and jury trial experience, representing clients in federal courts throughout the United States, before appellate courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as appearing before other alternative dispute resolution forums.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients nationwide across a range of industries in patent litigation matters
· Draft briefs, take and defend depositions, and argue motions in court

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of patent litigation experience
· Background in electrical or mechanical engineering (BSEE/BSME preferred)
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $205,000 – $225,000.
