About the Position:
Our client, a Chicago boutique plaintiff’s litigation firm, is seeking a junior-level personal injury lawyer who is passionate about litigation, client advocacy, and achieving strong outcomes to join the practice as an associate. Responsibilities:
· Handle a caseload of personal injury matters (both pre-suit and in-suit) from start to finish
· Conduct client interviews, maintain regular communication, and provide updates on case progress
· Investigate accident and premises liability cases by collecting records, surveillance, site inspections, witness statements, and expert input to assess liability and damages.
· Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, demand letters, settlement documents, and other legal documents
· Coordinate and oversee all aspects of discovery and conduct and defend depositions
· Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and, occasionally, trials
· Negotiate settlements and medical liens.

Required Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of personal injury experience, including with product liability and/or premises liability
· Strong legal writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000.
