About the Position:
Our client, a Chicago-based boutique plaintiff’s litigation firm, is seeking a personal injury attorney (4–10 years) located in Chicago or Michigan. The firm is nationally recognized for its work representing survivors of sexual abuse and handling complex, high-impact plaintiff-side matters in both state and federal courts. This is an opportunity for a motivated litigator with strong research and writing skills to take on meaningful cases, work closely with experienced partners, and play a visible role in a growing, mission-driven practice.

Responsibilities:
· Manage a docket of plaintiff-side personal injury and complex litigation matters from intake through trial and potential appeal
· Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation
· Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and lead settlement negotiations
· Work closely with partners on high-profile and sensitive matters, including survivor advocacy cases
· Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
· Maintain strong client relationships through clear, thoughtful communication
· Contribute to business development efforts and firm growth initiatives
Required Qualifications:
· 4–10 years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side personal injury preferred; commercial litigation or insurance defense backgrounds considered)
· Strong courtroom presence and hands-on litigation experience
· Excellent legal research and writing skills
· Experience with discovery and motion practice in complex matters
· J.D. from an accredited law school and active Illinois or Michigan bar admission
· Appellate experience is a plus
Location:
Chicago, IL or Michigan (Michigan would be Remote)
Compensation & Benefits:
· Base salary: $150,000 – $170,000+ (depending on experience)
