About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law firm, is actively seeking an IT/IP attorney to join its Technology Transactions practice as a senior-level associate in Chicago. This practice boasts more than 200 attorneys across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia and holds top-tier global and domestic accolades for its technology, privacy, and cyber law capabilities. Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients on digital and social media, right of publicity, and sweepstakes and promotions matters
· Advise clients on privacy and product compliance, tech transactions, data transactions, and data breach transactions
· Manage data incident response
· Draft and review various agreements, including advertising agency/client agreements, media planning/buying agreements, and sponsorship agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience with emerging technologies, data privacy, and/or advertising and marketing
· Familiarity with digital advertising technology and AI-related legal and regulatory matters
· Experience developing internal data protection programs and building out data maps preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $325,000 – $435,000.
