About the Position:
Our client, a distinguished global law firm, is seeking a litigator specializing in privacy/cybersecurity to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. The litigators in this firm’s Privacy and Cyber team have handled hundreds of privacy-related litigations and arbitrations nationwide, including class actions and qui tam cases, and represent clients across heavily regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare/life sciences, education, energy, and retail.

Responsibilities:
· Handle all aspects of litigation in cases related to data privacy/cybersecurity, including leading fact investigations, performing research and developing litigation strategies, drafting pleadings, motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment, conducting and defending depositions, negotiating with opposing counsel, and managing day to day case activities

Required Qualifications:
· 3 – 5 years of substantial litigation and case management experience
· Federal clerkship experience preferred
· Fair Credit Reporting Act experience and/or experience litigating other privacy-related statutes is a plus
· Excellent academic and professional credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 – $305,000.
