About the Position:
Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a privacy litigation attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm represents global, emerging technology, and life sciences companies in all matters related to privacy and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:
· Research complex legal issues and help shape litigation strategy
· Prepare pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment motions
· Take and defend depositions
· Negotiate with opposing counsel and manage client relationships

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of experience with litigating privacy, cyber, consumer, class action, or federal court matters
· Strong academic credentials and analytical skills
· Federal clerkship is preferred; Fair Credit Reporting Act experience is desirable

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $295,000 – $350,000.
