About the Position:
Our client, a renowned international law firm, is seeking an experienced private funds attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The attorneys in this highly regarded practice represent fund sponsors in the structuring and formation of private investment funds in nearly all strategies and receive support from lawyers in the firm’s other offices and practice areas.

Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients on operational and compliance issues involving private investment funds
· Work on investment fund formation, structuring, and related corporate and regulatory matters

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience advising clients on investment management and compliance matters, as well as with the formation, structuring, and ongoing management of private investment funds
· Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act and other related U.S. securities laws
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000+.
