We are working with an elite Am Law firm with a strong international footprint that has an immediate need for a project finance lawyer with a renewable energy investment focus to join its cutting-edge Energy practice as a mid-level associate in Chicago. Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients on various financing transactions, including asset-based finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and other project finance transactions
· Advise clients on the financing, development, and restructuring of renewable energy facilities and other clean technology assets
· Conduct research and draft memoranda
· Serve as primary point of contact

Required Qualifications:
· 4 or more years of law firm or in-house project finance experience, with a focus on renewable energy investment
· Experience with range of project finance work, including debt, equity, and tax monetization financings, restructurings, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in the energy transition market
· Excellent academic credentials
