About the Position:
Our client, a national law firm leading the finance space, is seeking a public finance attorney to join its Chicago office as a senior counsel. This practice group represents a large variety of state and federally chartered financial institutions, as well as domestic branch offices of banks chartered and headquartered in countries across the globe, and has been a longtime leader in developing credit enhancement tools such as letters of credit and liquidity facilities for public finance transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Represent lenders in commercial lending transactions, including secured and unsecured term loans and revolving lines of credit, from origination through documentation
· Prepare reimbursement agreements, letters of credit and liquidity facilities employed in connection with public finance transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 3-7 years of general finance or transactional experience at a bank or a large or midsize law firm
· Exposure to municipal finance, banking, and securities underwriting
· Experience with tax-exempt bond financing across healthcare, education, or public infrastructure borrowers, along with related bond and commercial paper programs
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $350,000.
