About the Position:
Our client, a leading Am Law Firm, has an active need for a real estate attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm manages real estate transactions across every major asset class and throughout every state of the investment life cycle.

Responsibilities:
· Represent owners, developers, sponsors, and investment managers on sophisticated real estate deals, with emphasis on joint ventures, acquisitions/dispositions, and sponsor-side financing
· Draft and negotiate transaction documents, exercising strong commercial judgment and managing key deal components independently
· Communicate and collaborate effectively across deal teams and practice groups as a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter
· Partner directly with senior attorneys and sophisticated clients on high-impact matters, contributing to the group’s continued growth

Required Qualifications:
· 3 years of commercial real estate transactions experience
· Large law firm experience preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000+.
