About the Position:
Our client, a premier mid-size law firm in Chicago, is actively seeking an experienced real estate lawyer to join its practice as an associate. This firm’s real estate practice focuses on transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing for offices, retail, industrial, and other commercial real estate. The person in this role will handle a range of real estate transactions, including retail leasing for a fast-growing client with a significant number of shopping centers located throughout the country.

Responsibilities:
· Handle real estate transactions involving joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
· Represent clients with retail leasing transactions
· Draft and negotiate contracts for acquisitions, dispositions, site assemblages, leases, and all related financing and ancillary documentation

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of broad-based real estate transactional experience
· Experience and/or interest in business development preferred

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000+.
