About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded international law firm, has an active need for a real estate and construction litigator (3-7 yrs) to join its Chicago office as an associate. This practice assists construction companies and their customers, as well as lenders and mortgage holders, developers, property owners, landlords, tenants and other real estate entities, in a wide spectrum of construction and commercial real estate disputes.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in all stages of construction and real estate dispute resolution (pre-litigation negotiation and mediation, arbitration, trial work in district court and administrative proceedings, and on appeal)
· Handle cases involving construction and design defects, construction delay claims, mechanics’ liens/payment disputes, real estate title issues, commercial lease disputes, eminent domain litigation, land use and zoning issues, and easement disputes
Required Qualifications:
· 3-7 years of experience with complex construction and real estate litigation
· Top academic credentials and excellent writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $195,000 – $325,000.
