About the Position:
We are working with an established international Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago that has an immediate need for a real estate finance lawyer (2+ yrs) to join its busy practice as an associate. This practice represents Fortune 500 companies, lenders, borrowers, tenants, owners, and investors in a range of real estate finance transactions involving an array of properties. Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in both private and public markets including, Fortune 500 companies, lenders, borrowers, tenants, owners, and investors in a range of real estate finance matters
· Represent lenders and investors in construction, permanent, and mezzanine loan transactions
· Assist with acquisition and disposition closings for retail, office, warehouse, and industrial spaces
· Negotiate commercial leases

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of real estate finance experience, including acquisitions and dispositions closings
· Experience representing investors and lenders in permanent, construction, and mezzanine loan transactions (ideally involving health care, auto, commercial, office, multifamily, retail and industrial properties)
· Experience negotiating commercial leases (industrial, warehouse, retail, and office)
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $240,000 – $330,000.
