About the Position:
Our client, a leading Am Law 50 Firm, is seeking an experienced real estate funds lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This person in this role will have strong experience working with open-end and closed-end fund structures and experience representing real estate fund sponsors and investors. This firm advises clients on structuring, launching, and managing real estate funds ranging from $50 million to over $15 billion in size, and frequently represents prominent alternative asset managers and private equity clients.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on the formation, structuring, management of open-end and closed-end real estate fund products
· Draft, review, and negotiate fund offering documents, partnership agreements, side letters, and co-investment vehicle documents
· Analyze regulatory requirements affecting real estate funds
· Coordinate with clients and other contacts to facilitate fund closings
· Support due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions and investments

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience with real estate funds and real estate investment products, including open-end and closed-end fund structures
· Strong knowledge of applicable law and regulations
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $365,000+.
