About the Position:
Our client, a dynamic real estate boutique law firm, has an active need for an attorney with significant retail leasing experience to join as an associate. This role offers the opportunity to join a highly regarded Chicago law firm and manage a range of national commercial real estate and leasing matters in a client-facing capacity. This practice has assisted various developers, corporate and non-profit clients in development of nearly 25 million square feet of projects in over 40 different jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:
· Represent developers and landlords on retail leasing matters both regionally and nationally
· Draft and negotiate contracts for acquisitions, dispositions, site assemblages, leases, and related financing

Required Qualifications:
· 4-7 years of real estate experience from a law firm environment
· Significant experience with retail leasing
· Strong drafting skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $190,000 – $240,000.
