Our client, an Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago, is actively seeking a corporate attorney with 3-6 years of registered investment funds experience to join its practice as an associate. The attorneys in this highly-regarded practice have experience in all types of investment company matters – from the start-up phase through ongoing management and regulatory issues. Responsibilities:
· Advise registered investment companies and investment advisers on regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933
· Play a key role in transactions, including investment company reorganizations or mergers

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience working with registered investment companies and investment advisers
· Experience with regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933
· Experience with mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and/or independent trustees and directors
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $320,000.
