About the Position:
Our client, a global law firm with a core focus in the insurance industry, has an immediate need for an attorney to join the firm as Risk Counsel, working with the General Counsel’s office to provide guidance and analysis in conflict of interest matters.

Responsibilities:
· Advise firm attorneys and staff with respect to conflicts of interest issues associated with new matters and lateral attorney/paralegal candidates
· Educate firm attorneys and staff regarding policies and procedures relating to conflicts and business intake issues
· Draft and review engagement letters, conflict waiver letters, and ethical wall memoranda
· Possess strong knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct, regulatory schemes governing attorneys across states, and legal ethics issues

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of law firm experience, specifically in conflicts, risk management or insurance coverage
· Experience in conflicts identification and clearance, as well as insurance coverage
