About the Position:
Our client, a Chicago boutique plaintiff’s litigation firm, is seeking an attorney who is passionate about litigation, client advocacy, and achieving strong outcomes to join the practice as an associate. Responsibilities:
· Handle a caseload of survivor litigation matters (both pre-suit and in-suit) from start to finish
· Conduct client interviews, maintain regular communication, and provide updates on case progress
· Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, demand letters, settlement documents, and other legal documents
· Coordinate and oversee all aspects of discovery and conduct and defend depositions
· Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and, occasionally, trials

Required Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of strong civil litigation experience, and an interest in sexual assault litigation
· Excellent emotional intelligence and genuine empathy skills
· Strong legal writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $150,000.
