Our client, a prominent global law firm, has an active need for a tax attorney with experience working on state and local tax matters to join its Chicago office as an associate. This firm’s tax practice is one of the most highly regarded in the world and handles a wide range of matters, including policy and planning, transactional work, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:
· Advise national and multinational clients in complex state and local tax matters
· Represent clients in tax disputes with state and local tax authorities

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience working on tax disputes with state and local tax authorities
· LLM in taxation is a plus
· Excellent academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000.
