We are working with a global law firm that is seeking a tax lawyer with familiarity/interest in renewable energy to join its project finance practice in Chicago as an associate. This highly-regarded practice works on complex and innovative projects across the globe.

Responsibilities:
· Support senior associates and partners with the tax aspects of renewable energy projects
· Work on complex financings and M&A transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 2 to 3 years of sophisticated tax law experience
· Familiarity with renewable energy incentives, such as the various tax credits in the Inflation Reduction Act and partnership taxation
· LLM in taxation preferred

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $235,000.
