About the Position:
Our client, a prominent global law firm, is actively seeking a tax lawyer to join its Investment Funds practice as an associate in Chicago. This firm is Chambers-ranked for both Tax and Investment Funds, and the person in this position will be joining a group that closes more than 2,000 fund investments annually for the world’s leading investors.

Responsibilities:
· Handle tax matters related to fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, investment fund secondary transactions, regulated investment companies, income tax treaties, and cross border transactions

Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of transactional tax experience, including subchapter K partnership tax issues
· Large law firm experience preferred
· Top academic credentials

Location:

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000.
