About the Position:
Our client, a growing tax law firm in South Carolina, is seeking a tax or transactional attorney with approximately five years of experience and an interest in a nontraditional legal role. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized tax attorneys, helping to develop client-facing materials and support strategic business development initiatives. Responsibilities:
· Create client-facing flow charts and presentation materials illustrating entity structures and tax mitigation strategies
· Assist with business development efforts focused on the firm’s existing network and client relationships
· Participate in client pitches and introductory meetings alongside firm leadership
· Draft engagement letters and assist with structuring client relationships
· Collaborate with tax attorneys to develop strategic materials for prospective and existing clients
· Utilize technology and presentation tools to effectively communicate complex transactional concepts
· Attend occasional conferences and client-related events as needed
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of legal experience in tax, corporate, or transactional law
· South Carolina-based attorney or willing to relocate to Charleston, South Carolina
· Strong interest in a nontraditional legal role that combines strategy, client interaction, and business development
· Ability to understand and communicate sophisticated transactional concepts to clients and advisors
· Technologically adept and comfortable creating presentation materials and diagrams (prior flow chart experience is not required)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000–$175,000+, plus a discretionary bonus.
