About the Position:
Our client, a leading global law firm, has an active need for a tech transactions/data privacy lawyer to join its innovative practice group as an associate in Chicago. This practice, which boasts over 120 attorneys, advises on high-impact deals related to AI, cloud infrastructure, product launches, cross‑border tech matters, and complex data privacy challenges.

Responsibilities:
· Draft and negotiate licensing and technology agreements
· Support transactions involving IP-related M&A and finance as well as new technologies, including AI and blockchain
· Advise start-ups and emerging companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch issues

Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of experience with technology transactions related to data privacy matters
· Expertise in enterprise software, cloud services, AI, outsourcing, blockchain, mobile applications, e-commerce, and digital content
· Large law firm experience
· Excellent academic credentials

Location:

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
