About the Position:
Our client, a sophisticated and collaborative national law firm, is seeking a technology transactions attorney with exposure to ecommerce, supply chain/logistics and software transactions to join its dynamic practice as an associate in Chicago. This role will primarily support the firms Business practice group in which attorneys play a vital role in assisting U.S. and multinational companies to strategically develop, procure, launch, manage and commercialize a variety of software, ecommerce, and technology projects across all stages of traditional and digital commerce.

Responsibilities:
· Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements (including those related to procurement for supply chain and software, outsourcing, software licenses, cloud and IT services, omnichannel ecommerce, payment processing and merchant services)
· Provide legal advisory support for multiple areas, including ecommerce, supply chain, logistics, IP, and regulatory compliance
· Assist clients with pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
· Serve as outside general counsel to regional, national, and multi-national businesses

Required Qualifications:
· 2-6 years of technology transactions experience
· Interest and/or experience in ecommerce, supply chain and logistics, and software
· Combination of in-house and private practice experience (at a top national or international law firm) preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $214,500 – $253,500.
