About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, has an active need for a technology transactions attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid to senior-level associate. Attorneys in this practice represent clients in protecting and commercializing intellectual property assets and advising on the technology and IP aspects of licensing, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture, financing, and other strategic transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Advise on the corporate transactions relating to intellectual property and AI, including, mergers and acquisitions and negotiation of transaction documents
· Draft and review licensing and technology agreements
· Provide due diligence in connection with IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, licenses, and other corporate transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of transactional intellectual property and AI experience, including software licensing
· Experience drafting and negotiating IP and IT-related agreements and other commercial contracts
· Data privacy and cybersecurity experience is a plus
· Large law firm experience
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
