Our client, a prestigious international law firm, has an immediate need for a technology transactions attorney (3+ yrs) to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. Responsibilities:
· Advise on the intellectual property aspects of transactions including, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings
· Counsel clients on intellectual property rights as well as other commercial contracts
· Draft and negotiate license and technology agreements
· Conduct due diligence investigations

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of experience advising clients on IP aspects of financing, merger and acquisition, joint venture, and other strategic transactions
· Experience drafting and negotiating license and technology agreements and other commercial contracts
· Experience in buy-side and sell-side corporate transactions
· Large law firm experience
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
