About the Position:
Our client, a national Am Law firm, is seeking a litigation attorney to join its Los Angeles office as an associate. This is an ideal position for someone who desires to focus their practice in environmental toxic tort and commercial litigation. Responsibilities:
· Handle complex civil litigation matters and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement or trial
· Conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions
· Draft and negotiate settlement agreements
· Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets
· Assist with business development efforts to drive growth and strengthen client relationships

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in complex civil litigation defense
· Experience in environmental, toxic tort, commercial, and/or construction matters preferred
· Strong legal research and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $145,000 – $195,000.
